The Art Council of Southwestern, Evansville
The bold letter A symbolizes the various arts represented by the Arts Council and a sinuous stroke represents the bends in the Ohio River so often identified with southwestern Indiana. The stroke also represents each of the arts–the writer’s pen stroke, the artist’s brushstroke, the dancer’s dance step and much more.
